Who is responsible

The controller is Wortya, Lda, a company registered in Portugal (Sines). For anything related to your data, write to hello@wortya.com.

Contact form

When you write to us we receive your name, email, company, role, the topic you chose and your message. We use them only to reply and to follow up on your request. No mailing lists, no sharing.

Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering you (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

The form is processed by the platform of our technology partner, Wisdom Beyond Technology, acting on our behalf, and delivered to our mailbox. We keep messages for up to 24 months after the last exchange, unless a working relationship follows.

Analytics, only with your consent

If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to count visits and see which pages are read, from which kind of device and roughly which country. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. We do not use advertising features or share this data with Google for other purposes.

Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Hosting and security

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web server, it records technical data about each request (such as IP address and browser) to deliver the pages and protect the service. These logs are kept for a short period. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure site.

Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts.

Embedded videos

Some pages embed YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When you play a video, Google processes data according to its own privacy policy.

Transfers outside the EU

Google and Vercel may process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to hello@wortya.com.

You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
